INFANT'S PROGRAM
Our Infant room has been specially designed to create a warm and secure environment for infants. From the peaceful sleeping area to the big rocking chairs where babies are held and fed their bottles, babies at Kids’ Corner Child Development Center have a very special place. Teachers enrich the routine and environment with language, sensory experiences, and opportunities for exploration, the infants are exposed to stimuli that help develop their young minds. This environment will set the stage for their education success in their futures.
Infants are unique and have their own patterns for play, feeding and sleeping. We use these patterns as our guide to introduce daily activities that will prepare your infant for life. Our highly trained teachers and staff offer a nurturing and creative environment for infants to develop their bodies and minds. We are committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for you and your child.
TODDLER'S PROGRAM
Energetic teachers plan activities in a very happy learning environment to encourage toddlers to feel free to explore the world around them. During this time, learning takes place at an accelerated rate. Toddlers make great developmental strides. They go from taking their first steps to potty-training and our teachers are right there to support them in a fun and active environment.

In order to provide toddlers with the consistency and routine , teachers must plan days filled with a balance of music and movement, quiet activities, running, and lots of outdoor gross motor activities. Learning Centers for imaginary play, blocks and puzzles, creative art, and lots of books are always open for discovery.

TWO'S PROGRAM
Children at this age are curious about the world around them. They are busy exploring their environment and learning to communicate their thoughts. While they begin to exert their independence, they are also gaining a better understanding of group play. Your child will build skills and confidence through games, songs, movement and art. Sharing, cooperating, and taking turns teaches your child the importance of being a team player.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
At Kids’ Corner Child Development Center, preschoolers are introduced to cognitive skills like sequencing and matching, social skills in similarities and diversity and language art skills such as storytelling and process-writing.
A preschooler´s world opens up in new ways as children improve coordination, learn complex games, and begin to interact more with others. Children also practice their decision making as they navigate from center to center. Learning Centers encourage self-reliance and provide opportunities for children to develop their self confidence.

PRE-K / VPK PROGRAM
Prekindergarten is a critical time for children. Every day your child is learning and doing more. Here at Kids’ Corner we use this time to find ways to enhance and refine the skills that they are using. Our loving, experienced teachers are dedicated to providing a rich and nurturing environment that will prepare your child for kindergarten. We promote independence in an organized atmosphere, as it is increasingly important for children to be their own thinkers. We also teach children to work well within a group through listening, sharing, and cooperation.

KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
The Kindergarten Program is like no other! Students are exposed to an advanced math and bilingual curriculum in which they learn to read and write in English and Spanish. Each student is required to bring their iPads with educational applications that help them reinforce the weekly goals and objectives. We maintain low ratios to provide individualized instruction throughout the school year.

Qualifications of Kindergarten Staff:
All of our teachers in the Kindergarten program have one of the following:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any subject
-
Three or more years of K-12 grade teaching experience
-
Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12 grade subjects.
