The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meets once a month in the evening. Please see the school calendar for the dates. The primary purpose of the Parent Advisory Committee is to provide an opportunity for parents to become even more involved in the education of their children by providing input and feedback to the Administration of the Center. While the parents are not responsible for the program content, they are encouraged to utilize this forum for communication.

The Parent Advisory Committee will be involved in the planning and implementation of several special events, fundraising, and parent education. 

The Committee is comprised of:

President – Will chair PAC meetings and act as a resource to parents regarding PAC activities and/or concerns. Will adhere to the purposed of the PAC and act as a liaison between the Center Director and PAC. The President or designee will represent the PAC at Center Events.

Vice-President – Will chair monthly PAC meetings in the President’s absence. Responsible for planning annual events such as Teacher Appreciation Week, overseeing the Ad Hoc committee, and fundraising activities and for expressing appreciation on behalf of the PAC.

Treasurer – Holds all funds. Allocation of funds will be at the approval of the PAC, or in an emergency, at the discretion of the officers. Reports account activity and balance at PAC meetings.

Communications Director – Publish upcoming events.  Responsible for preparing an agenda for PAC meetings and distributing prior to the meeting.  Serves as recording officer by taking meeting notes.  Prepares and distributes those notes as well as other PAC communications.
